Biographie:
John Goodman is an American actor who was born on June 20, 1952 in Affton, Missouri. He grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, and studied acting at Southwest Missouri State University.
Goodman began his acting career in the late 1970s and became known for his role as Dan Conner in the sitcom "Roseanne" (1988-1997). He won two Emmy Awards for his performance in the series and also appeared in the remake "The Conners" (2018-2022).
In addition to his work on television, Goodman is also a well-known character actor in films. He has appeared in many successful films, including "Raising Arizona" (1987), "The Big Lebowski" (1998), "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" (2000) and "10 Cloverfield Lane" (2016).
Goodman has also appeared in numerous animated films, including as the voice of Sulley in "Monsters, Inc." (2001) and "Monsters University" (2013), and as the voice of Baloo in "The Jungle Book" (2016).
In addition to his acting career, Goodman is also an avid fan of baseball and supports the St. Louis Cardinals. He is also involved in various charities, including the Sunshine Kids Foundation, which supports children with cancer.
